Some 'appy news!

A new ministry tool has been born.

*What's new

We are so excited to tell you about a recently launched multimedia initiative aimed at high school and college aged young people across South Wales.  For several months now, a group of local youth pastors have been developing an iPhone and Android app called STFT (pronounced stuffed) which stands for Spiritual Tools For Teens.

It's been a long dream of ours to have a more integrated presence in the lives of the young people we work with.  While the secular world has infiltrated nearly every aspect of their lives- from TV to phones, radio, etc. spiritual truth has taken a back seat.  By reconnecting them to spiritual truth about Jesus and the Bible, we are praying that God will use this new tool to help us reach more young people and to help them discover more of who God is and his desire to know them.

We have more than 100 downloads already and are praying for 500 more by summer.  Would you pray with us that God would continue to expand this incredible resource?

*Family news

It's been a year of visitors and we have enjoyed all the time our family has spent with us here in Wales.  It was especially nice to share a Welsh Christmas together!

The girls continue to excel in school.  Hannah and Addison are doing particularly well in their math and reading and Hannah has been participating in football (soccer) and tag rugby activities after school.  Addie has become quite the cook and loves to help mom in the kitchen.  Elayna loves going to nursery and has made lots of new friends, although she tends to be a bit mischievous, ha ha.  Dad always prayed that we would one day have kids like we were.  Maybe the prayer has been answered...

Though the difficulties of ministering overseas and being way from our families remain, we feel blessed in all that God is doing in us as a family.  Please continue to pray that we be the example we need to be for our children and our community.

*Prayer requests

- Pray with us during this Easter season for the young people we meet in schools as we proclaim publicly the incredible story of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior.

- Please pray for our new ministry tool STFT.  This iPhone and Android app will help youth and youth ministers access some incredible resources for discipleship, bible reading and prayer.

- Continue to pray for our house groups and their continued impact.  We are seeing some tremendous growth in this particular area!

- We have set a goal to raise an additional $50,000 over the next year to address some transportation, multimedia and staffing needs for the future.  Please be in prayer with us about this.

- Please be in prayer for our local churches to be bold and confident as they exhibit the light and love of Christ to our communities.
